These terms apply to this website and to every place booked on a route. By booking you accept them for everyone in your party.
Route descriptions, photographs and grading are ours; please do not copy them for commercial use. We keep the pages accurate, but ground conditions change faster than any page can.
A place is confirmed only when we write back to say so. Payment terms and cancellation are set out on the booking page.
A qualified ranch hand to guide your visit, the daily routine as described, shared tools and equipment for feeding and moving Cattle, and the nights of lodging listed in the stay. You'll need to arrange your own personal clothing and boots suited to pasture work, your travel to the farm ranch, and any personal insurance you'd like to carry during your time on the farm.
Weather, soil conditions, or the needs of the herd can force us to adjust the day's work — delaying hay harvesting, moving Cattle to different pasture, or rescheduling a visit to the stables. Those calls are made on the spot by the ranch manager, based on what's best for the animals and the land that day.
Working a farm ranch carries real risk that no amount of planning can fully remove — animals are unpredictable and weather changes fast. We are responsible for providing proper livestock care and running daily operations with reasonable skill and attention to sound agriculture practices, but we cannot be held responsible for loss or injury caused by conditions outside our control.
